Agreement framework

Service and Purchase Agreements

The agreement presented at engagement or checkout controls the specific purchase. These summaries explain the agreement type a customer should expect; they are not substitutes for the final agreement accepted by the parties.

Legal-services engagement agreement

Identifies the client, responsible attorney, matter, scope, duties, recovery-fee percentage within the stated 25%–35% range, calculation basis, $1,500 deferred court and case costs, client-trust-account handling, termination rights, dispute terms, and required professional disclosures. No legal representation begins without an executed agreement and completion of required intake and conflicts procedures.

SurplusTracker California subscription agreement

Identifies the plan, regular or Founding 250 price, billing cadence, authorized users, data scope, acceptable use, independent-verification duties, privacy and outreach restrictions, renewal and cancellation terms, service changes, support, and license restrictions. Monthly subscriptions continue until canceled under the order terms.

GetSurplusFunds-CA membership and digital-product license

Identifies the course, membership, eBook, template, tool, marketing material, or bundle purchased; access period; permitted use; update eligibility; recurring billing when applicable; refund terms; and restrictions on redistribution, resale, unauthorized practice, or misleading marketing.

Add-on service order

Defines the requested county, property, report, research, skip-trace, consulting, coaching, workshop, export, or other add-on; price; assumptions; required inputs; delivery estimate; permitted use; confidentiality; third-party costs; and cancellation terms.

Referral program agreement

Defines eligibility, permitted statements, privacy and consent duties, lead handling, nonexclusivity, prohibited legal advice, compensation if any, professional-responsibility conditions, and termination. Submitting a referral alone does not promise payment or establish agency, partnership, or employment.

Electronic acceptance

Checking an acceptance box, signing electronically, or completing a checkout after clear presentation of terms may constitute agreement. Customers should download or retain the agreement and order confirmation. If terms conflict, the signed legal-services agreement controls legal representation; the accepted order and product-specific agreement control other purchases.
