Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Court St. Legal and its divisions, SurplusTracker California and GetSurplusFunds-CA (collectively, “Court St. Legal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information submitted through this website.

Information we collect

We may collect identifiers and contact information such as name, email address, telephone number, mailing or property address, organization, and professional role; case or referral information such as county, approximate foreclosure date, relationship to a former owner, and the message you submit; transaction and subscription information; communications and consent records; and basic device, browser, security, and server-log information supplied by our hosting and service providers.

How we collect and use information

Information is collected when you submit an email-opening form, GoHighLevel/CRM intake, secure database form, purchase request, privacy request, or other communication. We use it to respond, evaluate an inquiry, provide requested services or products, administer subscriptions and memberships, process or document transactions, prevent fraud and abuse, protect our systems, comply with law and professional obligations, and improve our services.

Inquiry delivery choices

  • Email-opening form: prepares a message in your own email application. The website does not send that message until you choose to send it.
  • GoHighLevel intake / CRM: securely stores the inquiry in a CRM intake queue and, when the approved integration is active, may transmit it to our GoHighLevel account.
  • Secure database form: stores the information in the website’s protected intake database for authorized staff review.

How we disclose information

We may disclose information to attorneys and authorized personnel working on the request; hosting, CRM, communications, payment, security, analytics, and professional service providers acting for us; parties you direct us to contact; and government, court, regulatory, or law-enforcement authorities when required or permitted by law. We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Retention and security

We retain information only as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, legal and professional obligations, dispute resolution, security, and recordkeeping. Retention periods vary by record type and matter. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information; however, no online system or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not submit Social Security numbers, banking credentials, passwords, medical records, or original identity documents through website forms.

California privacy rights

Depending on the law that applies to us and your relationship with us, California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, or delete certain personal information; receive information about categories of collection and disclosure; limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; opt out of sale or sharing; and receive equal service without unlawful discrimination. We may need to verify identity and authority before completing a request. Authorized agents may submit requests subject to verification.

Cookies, links, and children

The website and its providers may use essential cookies or similar technology for security and operation. Third-party links are governed by the third party’s policies. This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
